Installing an App

Learn how to search for and download an app from the App Store (iPhone) or the Google Play Store (Android), so you can use it easily on your mobile phone.

Steps for Android

  1. Find and open the Play Store

    Locate and open the Play Store app on your device.

  2. Tap Search

    In the menu at the bottom, tap the search icon.

  3. Search for the app

    Tap the search bar and type the name of the app you’re looking for, e.g., Facebook, and tap the search button when finished.

  4. Download the app

    Find the app you’re looking for and tap the “Install” button. You don’t need to confirm the installation with a code or Face ID.

  5. Open the app

    Once the download is finished, which will take a few minutes depending on your connection, tap “Open” to use it.
