Creating a Group Chat

Learn how to create a group in Viber so you can easily communicate with more than one of your loved ones at the same time.

Find Viber
Swipe through the Home Screen to find Viber.
Open the app
Tap the Viber app icon.
Tap the button at the bottom-right
Tap the button with the message icon at the bottom-right to create a new group.
Tap “New Group”
Select the group-chat option.
Choose the people
Search for and tap the names of the people you want to add, then tap the purple arrow at the bottom-left.
Name the group and tap the purple tick
Tap the field that says “Group name”, give the group a name, and tap the purple tick to finish.
Tap the message field
Tap the field where you write your message.
Write your message
Type the message you want to send and tap the send arrow. Your message has been sent to your new group.
