Power button

The side button. Press it briefly to turn the screen on/off, or hold it down to fully turn the phone on or off. Volume buttons

Two buttons on the side of the device — one increases and the other decreases the volume. Front camera

The small lens above the screen, on the front. You use it for selfies and video calls, so you can see your face while talking. Charging port

The small socket where you connect the charging cable. Always use the original charger for your device and avoid charging in very hot or damp places. Speakers

Where the sound of calls, videos, and notifications comes from. Camera

On the back of the device, you will usually see 2 or 3 lenses together, as well as a small light (flash). Each lens is used for a different type of photo. You don’t need to choose which lens to use yourself, the Camera app does this automatically. The flash turns on automatically in dark places, to light up your photo.
